Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Gokua on Mon May 04, 2015 3:38 am

Much like Sapphire's interactive Persona story, I will be starting one, but this time it is Fire Emblem This story takes place one hundred years after Awakening.
Basically, there are two main countries called Exirth, and another called Besordine. Both representing chaos and order, and are having a civil religious war in the continent Zedwar. There are also three nations with different types of laguz ruling, such as Mammaria Confederacy (beast laguz), Republic of Avianna (Bird laguz), and the Schawargon Monarchy (Dragon laguz). Also, a problem with the continent is that there are many beasts that attack the villages, usually just for the fun of it. Alongside with the religious civil war, there are necromancer strongholds across the main two countries.

I would like to ask that you change your continent to mainly either Exirth or Besordine, but if you are a laguz of some kind, I would prefer if you put it in a laguz nation, but it's up to you.

Also, only one class per character.

Character sheet:
Name:
Age:
Continent (Exirth, Besordine, Mammaria, Avianna, Schwargon)
Appearance/Clothing:
Class:
Background:
Personality:

ALSO: I will romance your character with another if you so please. There will also be support conversations between characters that fight together.

Name: Dusk

Age: 190 (Mentally/Physically 19)

Continent: Exirth

Appearance/Clothing: Dark hair with a green tint, blue eyes, has a lanky body, has black wings in his human-like form.  Tends to keep a smirk on his face.  When transformed into a full Raven, his feathers have a dark green tint to them.  Wears a heavy dark cloak to conceal their wings in human-like form.  Under that, he wears a simple gray shirt with black pants and boots.

Class: Bird Laguz (Raven)

Background: Originally from the Republic of Avianna, Dusk left home 30 years ago in search for action and recently ended up sneaking into Exirth after escaping authorities from a different country.  Seeing how said authorities weren't keen on going into Exirth to search for him, he decided to stay for a while until the heat dies down.  Has a criminal record spanning across several countries, including getting put into and breaking out of a handful of prisons.

Personality: A regular criminal and opportunistic, feels at home when causing trouble.  While his morality may be questionable, he has his limits (i.e. he wouldn't murder anyone just for the hell of it.) but doesn't consider himself a good person.  To him, crime isn't really about profit, it's more causing as much chaos as he possibly can.

For a Raven Laguz, he is quite young and reckless.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Brimstone Behemoth on Tue May 05, 2015 12:58 am

Name: Sigmar G. Mork

Age: 39

Continent: Exirth

Appearance/Clothing: Physically Sigmar stands at a height of 6'2" feet tall and has a muscular physique with a strong upper body and toned legs, weighing about two hundred pounds. He has a suave and swarthy appearance, giving him tan skin and dark hairy arms, legs and chest. Facially resembles actor Steve Carell in his role as Michael Scott in The Office, having a similar hairstyle as well.

Sigmar's combat and casual clothing is typical for a Barbarian. He wears dark blue pants with a bronze skull design on the kneecaps, brown leather boots and gauntlets with rune-like designs on them and a large belt around his waist with a big storm blue belt buckle with Exirth's insignia imprinted in it to show his loyalty. Metallic armbands cover his muscular arms while Sigmar sports cerulean tattoos on chest (doesn't wear a shirt, showing his robust figure) varying in design that represent his heritage. Then Sigmar has a fur cloak made from the hide of a grizzly bear and wears a griffon skull like a helmet.

In more formal settings, Sigmar dresses more akin to a nobleman since his Barbarian get-up isn't fully appropriate in certain settings. Sgimar wears a white ruffle collar shirt with a dark blue velvet doublet over it containing many runic designs. A small brown leather belt is on his waist with dark blue brocade pants that also have similar runic designs to his doublet. He then sports a velvet cloak that is navy blue on the outside and black on the inside, black knee-length medieval leather boots and a wide-brimmed cobalt hat that has a yellow feather on it.

Class: Barbarian -> Berserker

Background: Sigmar was born in the northern wastelands of Exirth on a bright and sunny day. He was born to a single mother who worked as a dark mage who ran a cult sect worshiping a local chaos diety and a powerful merchant-lord who roamed the continent. Of course his father left Sigmar and his mother before he was born to continue making profit and have sex with even more men and women. Sigmar himself has many half-siblings and doesn't even know it, having encountered some of them before but never really making the connection. Despite this Sigmar bears no ill-will towards his father, never really knowing him in the first place.

During his childhood Sigmar was an awkward runt who just wanted to make people laugh and have friends. Unfortunately Sigmar tended to get messed around with by the other kids growing up, thinking that they were his friends despite how much they bullied him. His mother got pissed by this and tried teaching Sigmar the dark arts in order for him to defend himself. However, Sigmar ended up lacking any magic potential much to his mother's dismay. It didn't help that Sigmar was a gullible child who would wind up getting scammed a lot, nearly loosing his entire fortune once after being caught up in a pyramid scheme. Sigmar was also an attention whore as a child and came across as an insensitive jerk due to lacking a conversational filter, getting him in many fights. All this fighting as a kid shaped Sigmar up to be an incredibly powerful barbarian, along with a late growth spurt when he was in his late teens. By the time Sigmar was of age, the military noticed his fighter skills and had him conscripted.

On the battlefield Sigmar absolutely devastated his opponents, gaining the notice of his superiors who saw a lot of potential in him. Although he started as a mere goon for the Exirth military, Sigmar rose up in the ranks and currently stands as a Captain now. However, Sigmar is a living example of the Peter Principle: He was a very good soldier on the front lines who got promoted to an officer position, a job in which Sigmar is completely in over his head. Despite his overall incompetence, Sigmar's troops under his command are somehow the most effective soldiers in the Exirth military currently. Of course while Sigmar views his troops as a family, they honestly hold little to no respect for him due to his silly antics and being caught up socializing with Sigmar can be absolutely dreadful. Still, Sigmar currently tries his best to be a benevolent commander for his troops, despite how they think he's an idiot. His current goal is having a family of his own, but for now his own command seems to be the closest thing he'll have to that for now. However, right now thanks to a certain prophecy his mother foretold to him as a boy, Sigmar has left his post to join up with Titus & Rike in a journey that will shake up the world.

Sigmar has also had his fair share of humorous stories over the years in the military:
* Sigmar didn't loose his virginity until he was twenty-nine, to a female Cat Laguz no less. Even though he was more or less actually raped by her, Sigmar doesn't really view his first time like he was raped and considers it a nice "score" in his naive eyes. As Sigmar tells people, "She just forgot the safe word, that's all."
* Speaking of Laguz, Sigmar has also been mistaken as a racist towards them on several occasions due to a series of poor jokes and cultural misunderstandings. He really doesn't have anything against Laguz, but many Laguz still find him rather racist, even if he means well.
* Once managed to date the mother of one of his female troops for a few months. This relationship ended after said female troop tried killing him, pissed that her mother was going out with him. Although Sigmar could have easily had her executed for this action, he instead had her transferred to a different company in the Exirth army and broke things off with her mother.
* While having lunch during a mission, Sigmar had his meal stolen by a griffon. After killing the griffon, it turned out to be the same beast that was eating several Exirth horses. Sigmar now wears this griffon's skull as a trophy and this event alone is a huge reason why he was promoted.
* Sigmar has been mistaken for a pedophile before. Only through military connections and quelling some riots did these accusations stop.
* Once Sigmar had a girl take advantage of him for monetary gain. He nearly declared bankruptcy and his troops had to help him see things through, just so their company didn't get financially fucked.
* Accidentally ran over one of his troops with a horse once when he was trying to learn horseback riding. Somehow Sigmar got his troop's forgiveness, making sure that he didn't get in serious trouble for this.
* Has had troops walk into his captain quarters on several occasions catching him masturbating. Although grossed out, Sigmar's troops admit that he is well-hung.
* A compliant file as large as a bible exists solely for complaints against him.

Personality: Sigmar is an obnoxious character who's cringe-worthy antics are enough to drive people mad. He loves being the spotlight even in situations where it's inappropriate, such as another person's wedding. Sigmar is not the brightest bulb in the batch either, frequently mispronouncing words, lacking in common knowledge and has difficulty understanding sarcasm, making him a gullible figure. A lack of a conversational filter means that Sigmar will say whatever comes to mind no matter how offensive it could be. His sense of humor is also rather degenerative and dark, putting off many people who find what Sigmar thinks to be funny in bad taste. It doesn't help that Sigmar does in fact play favorites. Overall he's pretty socially awkward due to a lack of friends as a child and no real father figure. Sigmar also didn't start speaking until he was five years old either.

Yet at his heart, Sigmar is just a very lonely guy, who wants, above all else, to feel accepted. This is at the heart of almost all of his quirks and problems. Not just that he wants to feel accepted, but also the fact that he is unable to be honest with himself about who he really is. His self-dishonesty leads to him being quite dense with himself and others which leads to him being more isolated from others. It's a viscous cycle. Most of Sigmar's decisions are made with the intent of either making friends or finding romance. Sigmar really wants to have children too, flat-out stating that he wants to play with his children before he gets too old.

His romantic life is typically terrible thanks to his near-high functioning autistic level social skills and being more shallow with women than he'd ever admit to. As said before, Sigmar only lost his virginity ten years prior to the story at the age of twenty-nine and with a woman who practically raped him no less. After that it didn't really get much better and Sigmar himself hasn't had sex in three years. He really wants to find "the one" and form a happy family with whoever the lucky lady would be, but this doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon. Sigmar may be a fantastic barbarian, but isn't aware that he's in a dead-end career while remaining desperate for true human connections, but is incapable of keeping them.

Post by The Villain of Scams on Tue May 05, 2015 4:17 am

Name: Adonis Walker

Age: 23

Continent
: Besordine

Appearance/Clothing: Adonis is an absolutely gorgeous man with perfect features and the clearest skin you can imagine. He's outrageously attractive with things like his chiseled chin and his toned body, he truly is blessed with beauty. However, Adonis also carries on from his mother, having red hair and red eyes (and as a result a thin, fine mustache rests right below his nose).

Adonis wears a white blouse, covered by a black vest and a red, fancy cape (which he also obtained from his mother.) His pants, boots and gloves are also black and he sports a large, red belt with a silver buckle. Underneath his clothes one can see evidence of chainmail and thin metal armor.

Class: Starts out as a Thief >>> Ends as a Trickster

Background: Adonis is a descendant of the infamous Anna sister bloodline. His father was, surprisingly, a poor farmer but Adonis still had a good living thanks to his mother, Anna, being able to hold a steady income due to her incredible talents at being a merchant, much like the rest of her sisters. Adonis has always had a fantastic talent at being sneaky and quick-witted, much like his mother, and because of this he took an interest in taking things from people. He spent his childhood stealing until in his early teenage years when his mother told him to stop stealing. He did not listen at first but right after his next steal, his mother beat the crap out of him with the help of his aunts. After that, Adonis was a changed man. Though he never enjoyed the thought of being a merchant, he retained his talents at stealing and would decide to only use them on people he thought deserved it, and to help lesser fortunate people.

Personality: Adonis is cool, suave and quick-witted. He is not particularly intelligent and can be easily outsmarted but he is quick witted and handles well in intense situations. Most people find him irritating if they're not in love with him already. Adonis has morals thanks to his traumatic incident and refuses to steal from anyone who is not rich, a criminal, or his enemy. He speaks with a fancy presence, big and poetic words, and does not understand sarcasm or why people do it.

Name: Titus
Age: 21
Continent: Besordine
Appearance/Clothing: He has bright blue hair extending halfway down his back, his face having a smooth complexion, his eyes being a bright green. He wears a plate of crimson red armor on his body, covering every single bit of it save for his feet. He wears red armored boots as well.
Class: Tactician ---> Grandmaster
Background: Titus is from a moderatley normal family that currently resides in Ylisse, being very religious and worshipping Naga. Titus still does his best to please the divine dragon, despite having violent tendencies.
When Titus was still learning in school, he would often get into fights and beat the snot out of any one that would oppose him. As he grew up, he had learned to somewhat control his anger, trying his best to learn how to
produce magic. He fears he may snap one day, as he could very well kill someone with his magical abilities.
Personality: Titus attempts to be a gentleman for the most part, but instead he is more awkward. He is aggrivated by this, and often shouts at anyone that gets in his way, going as far as starting a fight. He has a kind heart, but he is unable to control his outbursts of rage.

Character sheet:
Name: Cinza Sjettsjur
Age: 22
Continent: Besordine
Appearance/Clothing: Cinza is a very effeminate and thin man, with long dark gray hair, though a bit messy due to his barbarian background. He wears a cape made of dark bear fur, standard gray wool wolven shirts, dark leather pants along with and black boots.
Class: Dark Mage
Background: An amateur dark mage that's was raised in a clan full of barbarians that basically make him their little jester since he was 13 years old. He never liked his barbarian clan, and to the point to where he thinks they killed his mother. Sick and tired of the mockery he poisoned their beers and escaped from the barbarian camp. While he is an amateur he does some occasional hitman work for underground crimes, and has a good track record (he's about intermediate or slightly below average). Essentially, he's a mercenary for hire.
Personality: An egotistical man with much enthusiasm, however, he's also selfish as he really concerns only himself. He'll do anything that would satisfy his goals to the point of screwing people over, or manipulating them to cause chaos among the group, but despite his selfishness, he will keep people alive that are needed in order to achieve his goals.

Here is Luca's character.

Name: Bestia Cazador
Age: 28
Continent: Archanea
Class: Assassin
Appearance/Clothing: Bestia is relatively young, yet mature looking for her age. She has short to medium black hair that is slightly spiky at the tips, but not enough to stand out so. She also has a small horizontal scar on her left cheek that can be hard to notice at first. She wears a sleeveless black shirt with blue marks resembling upwards flames at the bottom, and a thick dark brown coat hides the rest of her upper body. Although it has a hood, she rarely puts it on outside of extremely hot environments. She also uses two brown gloves, the left one covering all and right being fingerless.

Her pants are dark gray with very small vertical cuts at the areas in front of the knees, and two pockets at the sides which she usually keeps her hands in with two extras at the back of it. Her outfit is rounded off with a black belt and two brown, thick boots made for walking in harsh land. She has two relatively thin swords found at the back of her waist, and two daggers at her sides as well. Despite that, she rarely uses more than one weapon at the same time.

Background: Born and raised in Plegia for most of her life, Bestia holds an interesting position in that she hunts both animals and people alike. She limits the job that she accepts however, refusing to take on hunts that go too low into her moral scale. She has earned a reputation of never taking a life in cold blood, and always challenges her targets head on even if they're among a group. The success rate of her jobs and the fact she's still alive speaks plenty of her relatively well known skills among the region.

Bestia's family consisted of radical followers of the main religion of Plegia, which was the main motivator for her to take up her lifestyle; Moving away from an obsessive and limiting group was the only way she would be able to see the world in open mind and eyes. Despite that, she still hold certain beliefs, but lacks the motivation to care about the finer details or end objective of worshiping the the Fell Dragon. Instead, she developed her own views of it, taking it as a symbol of her work and the destruction it may bring if done without care for its consequences.

Personality: Blunt and straightforward, Bestia is a woman that while not going out of her way to offend others, might end up doing so by default of her attitude. Despite that, she defaults to talking instead of starting a fight if possible, but has no problem going one way or the other. She holds a distaste for useless things, her life in a harsh continent leading to valuing practical tools over fancy gadgets that fail to provide useful functions.

She has an instant distrust for everyone that she meets, yet expects to be trusted when required. Rather than an selfish view of others, that is a side effect of her profession attracting the worst kind of people. As such, she learned to rely on her own strength more than anyone else's, and dislikes being helped unless the situation is dire. As a last note, she enjoys trying all sorts of drinks and hates wasting food and water. She's the fastest to sharpen her blades.

I made a character, Josh.

Name: FUCK JOSH
Age: Josh's age
Continent: NOJOSHUA
Appearance/Clothing: Looks like the exact opposite of Josh; handsome, charming, well-groomed, and masculine. Wears a tuxedo and tie.
Class: (Josh) Assassin
Background: A man named Josh once killed his entire family, including him. Since then he swore to kill every Josh he meets.
Personality: Hates Josh. Otherwise a typical shounen main character.

I hope he gets paired up with Luca's character, that'd be a really cute couple! Smile

Here is Twisted's character

Name: Ventus

Age: 25

Continent (Valm or Archanea): Valm, the dukedom of Rosanne

Appearance/Clothing: Tall, lanky, and pale to the point of appearing sickly. With shoulder-length orange hair with two mirrored bangs that frame the contour of his pale blue eyes. He wears a long red hooded cloak and a light brown tunic. He also wears a conspicous tome on his hip that is locked by some mechanism that he lacks the knowledge to unlock, but carries with him nontheless.

Class: Mage (Eventually a sage). Wind magic focus.

Background: Ventus was born and raised in the Valmese country Rosanne, known for its fertile lands. However, Ventus' life was not so idyllic as the land itself. Born and raised by a single mother, Ventus wasn't availed much in life, but he always found some way to stick his head in some book or another. This is how he discovered his love of history and would eventually lead to his desire to search through ruins seeking for more information of the distant past. Merely a decade after he was born, his mother passed away due to illness and Ventus was left to drift as a vagrant through Valm seeking hearth and home.

The fruits of his search paid off when he was taken in by a kindly old man with a strange scar across his face. He had a rough way of speaking, and sometimes seemed quite standoffish but he was quite a gentle soul. It was from him that Ventus learned the ways of magic, coincidentally, he was quite proficient at wind magic. His lust for knowledge of the past was left unsatiated however, and when he became of age he left the home of the old man who had taken so much care of him, with no goodbye, but a handwritten note.

Thus he travels across the nations digging through ancient and forgotten, and sometimes quite treacherous ruins, in search of that which has been forgotten in this time.

Personality: He's quite awkward around people, as his main interaction is with paper. This does not mean however he is not fond of others, in fact he enjoys conversation and will regale others with the things he has found or learned to those who will lend an ear, usually to their chagrin.

Posting this character biography on behalf of my brother Nick (Mesh) who wanted a character in this story, but doesn't want to make an account on Ze Bunker so yeah, I'm posting it for him lol.

Name: Sol D. Ier

Age: 30

Location: Besordine

Appearance/Clothing: Sol is a very generic looking Caucasian man who seems to have generic face syndrome, not that he minds this. He stands at a height of 5'11 feet tall, has a decent, broad build thanks to years of farm work along with a farmer's tan and personal training and a clean-shaven face thank to Sol shaving at dawn everyday, otherwise his facial hair is very patchy and funny looking. His dark hair is in a bowl cut hairstyle he personally cuts himself, and is usually hard to notice thanks to Sol constantly wearing a helmet. Yeah, Sol looks incredibly uninteresting and could easily blend into any crowd and not get noticed, although not on Kellam levels of being unnoticed.

Sol wears a get-up very typical of a soldier. His tunic and pants are a burnt orange color, with beaver colored and leather gloves, boots and belt. Underneath his cloth garment is chain-mail, with a simple white t-shirt beneath that. For armor Sol has a pale gray steel chest plate that covers his entire torso and shoulder pads and leg guards of the same color and material. He also sports a jet gray military shemagh around his neck, a gunmetal colored lobster-tailed pot helmet, a steel lance and has a round shield fashioned out of oak, heaver leather and steel attached to his left forearm. Sol would gain a bit more armor and upgraded gear as he was promoted, becoming more efficient.

Class: Soldier -> Halberdier -> Sentinel

Background: Sol was born as the third child in a family of twelve to a couple of farmers in an insignificant country in the continent of Besordine. His childhood was very strict, and Sol always had to get up early to work on the farm all day along with his brothers and sisters. He did not mind this however and became no rebel; in fact Sol loved the authoritarian lifestyle of harsh discipline since it wielded results. Structure made perfect sense to him, and he grew to have an abiding love for the system like the tool he is. By the time Sol was of age he was conscripted into the Besordine military and ended up loving military structure even more, appreciating the authoritative atmosphere and becoming a strong proponent of fascism. Of course Sol also loved the farm as well and told himself he would return to it or start a farm of his own by the time he was discharged from the military. However, recent threats have caused Sol to be placed under the command of Sigmar. Only time can tell where Sol's disciplined life will take him next.

Personality: Sol often speaks in a halting, intense manner, even in casual conversations. He often feels a need to one-up his peers, as evident by how much he sucks up to Sigmar. This stems from how ass-kissing was necessary in order to survive on the farm and in the Besordine military. In fact Sol is one of the few people who seems to genuinely like Sigmar, yet his ass-kissing towards him yields little respect from Sigmar who isn't a big fan of suck-ups as it turns out. Despite this Sol tries his best to act as Sigmar's number two, even though it is appreciated very little by Sigmar or the others in his company. He, like Sigmar is also unaware that Titus is the actual commander of their company, with Sol usually scoffing off Titus's plans since he doesn't think Titus is his true leader.

His fighting prowess on the battlefield, combined with his tactical maneuvers do make him a valuable ally, stemming from his years of military experience. Sol also has an incredible amount of stamina thanks to working on a farm for most of his life, and is also a big eater too, not that he likes admitting to this. Still, Sol values authoritarianism and is a strong believer that the best kind of leader is a benevolent dictator who gets shit done. Of course Sol is a loyal man to his company and would not betray them unless some serious, and I mean serious personal gain was at stake. He is an entrepreneur at heart who believes strongly in capitalism/feudalism, thinking that socialist ideas are naive and belong in a fantasy land. Sol is also a Darwinist who believes in the strongest of the fittest, with his favorite animals being ants, beavers, bees and salmon as his favorite creatures since they're hard workers with very structured lives. His cooking skills, although not terrible are tasteless, with his very nutritional food always having a flavor of plain white rice to it. Likewise his artistic skills are absolute ass, and even stick figures doodled by Sol tend to look like a mess of scribbles. Overall Sol embraces the humorless, hard-ass way of life, but isn't a complete fun-hater, enjoying a good alcoholic beverage and is nearly always up for discussing economics, astronomy, physics and chemistry.

Continent (Valm or Archanea): Valm - Chon'sin

Appearance/Clothing: The'resa stands at 5'5" tall and has black hair wrapped in a ponytail that loops back up under her bun making a circle of hair that hangs off the back of her head. Contrary to the paler skin found in inland Chon'sin, she lived most of her life on the coast as a child and young adult and thus has a darker complexion. She has onyx eyes and slightly bushy eyebrows and always has a pleased expression on her face. She frequently has a few nicks or small bruises on her face from falling off of a perch by accident while aiming her bow or running into a tree when trying to flee from an adversary.

The'resa has sloped shoulders but has quite a bit of muscle, especially on her right arm from using her bow, but overall has an athletic build from doing a lot of climbing to find good nests from which to snipe. She typically wears a purple tunic with loose white pantaloons as well as a pair of well-made sandals. She has a pair of white shoulder spaulders made of overlapping leather plates. On the front of her tunic is an emblem of a leaping trout with an arrow in its eye.

Class: Archer - Sniper

Background: Born and raised in coastal Chon'sin by a small fisherman's family, The'resa is said to have been born under a cherry tree by a river but she always disputes that saying she was born under a river by a cherry tree. Her father, having no other children, quickly decided to pass the family trade onto her and tried to teach her how to fish, but she simply didn't have a knack for it. She wanted more to run among the cherry blossom trees near the village or climb steep rock faces to get a view of the ocean than sit with a pole in her hand all day.

Fortune smiled upon The'resa and her father one day, however, when as a carefree thirteen year old she stumbled upon a bow and quiver left behind by a drunk Chon'sin archer in a gutter near a tavern. Being curious and never having had tried it out for herself, The'resa ran out into the forest to the river where she was supposedly born and practiced firing arrows into the water. She spent an hour out there in the forest perfecting her form, trying to get the arrows to fly just the way she wanted, until she was down to her last arrow. Her parents, being worried sick about her, found her and demanded she back away from the river and hand over the bow.

As The'resa turned from her watery target to protest, she accidentally let loose an arrow and speared a jumping fish through the eye, pinning to a tree across the river. And with that, The'resa's true calling as the village's first ever bow-wielding fisherwoman was born and she earned the name of The Fish Eye. Over the years since that faithful day she honed her skill and trade with her faithful bow Yumi. Whether perched from a tree or aiming down from a cliff, The Fish Eye could nail dozens of fish in an afternoon without breaking a sweat.

Being an archer with enough skill to take out leaping fish of course drew the attention of the Valmese military, and she was quickly drafted though The'resa claims they had to get on their knees and beg her to join. Since then, she's spent most days goofing off rather than patrolling along with her fellow soldiers though she never minds joining them whenever there's an archery competition in the encampment.

Personality: A carefree spirit for many years, The'resa as a woman in her early thirties doesn't know the meaning of stress, not since she was a kid, and thus is never panicked under pressure because she doesn't know what pressure is; this trait has always been her biggest strength and her biggest weakness, never panicking but never knowing when a situation is grievous enough to take seriously. She is never too happy but is never sad, and always wears a content expression on her face in the form of a pleased yet haughty look and a small grin. She is often asked why she's always appears so pleased, but she simply shrugs and says "Why shouldn't I be?".

The'resa is supremely confident in her abilities as a marksman and loves to show them off, never missing an opportunity to impale an apple or a busted helmet with an arrow. She doesn't brag much about her skills through words, however, believing that showing is much better than telling. In fact, she's a woman of few words but when she does speak she does so with thought, claiming that she chooses what she says just like she choose a shot: carefully. This claim has been disputed many times, as when The'resa does speak up it's either a clever quip or something nonsensical that she claims relates to the topic at hand.

While a skilled archer, The'resa has never been much for a direct brawl and thus when trouble gets up close and personal, she finds herself running in the direction most opposite from it. She claims she runs not because she's a coward but because her bow would make a poor shield and her arrow a terrible sword.

The'resa isn't the romantic type and cares more for talks of adventure or terror, though she does like to tease the many male soldiers she trains and fights with from time to time just to get them red in the face. She also enjoys a stiff drink from time to time but even then never cuts fully loose, always trying to keep that air of aloofness about her that she's so renowned for.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Efe Clemenza on Fri May 22, 2015 11:11 am

I wrote a character because BB asked me to and then forgot to post it so here I am doing that now:

Name: "I'll answer to 'Gerrik' if I have to."

Age: "18. Wait, was it 19...? Yes, I'm definitely 19. I sometimes forget that."

Continent: "I hail from Exirth. Where else would you find people who still practice dark magic so regularly?"

Appearance/Clothing: "If you somehow can't tell by looking at me, I'm pretty short for my age, and I lack any sort of muscle or fat. I wear this rust-colored cloak pretty much all the time, there's nothing fancy about it. I've chosen to forego the standard hood, it was way too stuffy with my bushy red hair."

Class: "I'm a Shaman. Not a Dark Mage, and I'll hope that you remember the difference. Oh, and I suppose I'm studying to become a Druid in the future."

Background: "Background? There isn't that much to talk about there. I mean, I was born, and I'm not dead yet. I think we all share that story. Well, maybe I didn't grow up the same way others did. Now that my parents are gone, I'm able to practice dark magic uninhibited. That's really all you'd need to know about me. I've traveled far and wide to hone my understanding of the dark arts ever since."

Personality: "What, you want to know more? You're an inquisitive one. I put my studies before anything else. I feel like I'm pretty simple in those regards. People sometimes say I'm anti-social, but I never stick around long enough to ask what they mean by that. I don't really like interacting with people if it means time away from learning magic."

Name: Valencia
Age: 38
Country: Besordine
Appearance/Clothing: Very toned and fit muscle structure, and standing at 5’10”.  Clad in White shining metal armor clad in bright yellow and pink stripes and emblems.  Casual clothes are simple beige robes.  Brown skin, green eyes, and long silver-blonde hair in a crown twist braid with long hair flowing down her back.
Class: Pegasus Knight
Background: Born abandoned in the woods she was found by local military officers, and later adopted by a retiring General named Eris.  Eris had raised her to the best of her ability giving her the best care mentally and physically, even training her by her own request, hoping that one day she herself would serve their country in the military.  But despite that she never forgot to nurture her and teach her what it meant to be a woman.  In all reality, Eris was born to a single dad who forced her to fill the void of a son he never got to have.  Despite her ruthless reputation, she was still a sensitive loving person deep down, who was forced into a situation she could not stand.  It wasn’t until her passing that Valencia learned that in her desire to be like the woman she looked up to, she had gone overboard.  After her death, she decided to instead live a life based on her final words of wisdom: “Life is an adventure.  Follow your dreams, and never forget, the only person who determines who you are, is you…”
With all that said and done, Valencia decided to continue serving her land, and not wishing to seek leadership and authority, but rather adventure and supporting others to gain the confidence to do things they didn’t think they could.
Personality: Normally very bubbly and supportive, but also has the ability to keep calm in life or death situations, as well as being able to be very stern in said situations.  However she doesn’t like showing off that side, and much rather try to sort out any issues not resorting to being a stone cold intimidating and powerful figure, in respect to her mother’s disdain for that type of attitude.  She’s also been called, “childish”, since she never seems to be 100% serious in times of stress, and always loves making and hearing jokes and tales.  This isn’t because she’s oblivious however, but rather she is trying to be uplifting in general for people who she feels need it the most, along with herself and her fun loving attitude.

Crime's character
Name: Lania Hoggard

Age: 23

Continent: Besordine

Appearance/Clothing: Sports long black hair tied up in a ponytail, with black eyes and prominent facial features.  Marginally tanned up as a result of long hours under the sun.  She's also marginally tall and stronger than she lets on.  She's sustained a few injuries from some weapon practice, garnering a few scars here and there on her arms and hands.  She wears the usual villager gear, so there's nothing else to note on that.

Class: Villager

Background: She comes from a long line of Hoggard farmers, none of them doing anything outside of "farming". She usually spends her days working on the fields, growing crops and plowing them, for the seeds of today are the meals of tomorrow.  While she enjoys her current position, she has a craving for adventure, always hearing stories of heroic grandeur and journeys through word-of-mouth at pubs.  As a result, she spends her free time honing her skills using a rusted old lance he bought for nearly free as a practice weapon.  At first, she found herself completely unable to even properly swing the thing, usually ending her up with some cuts and bruises, not even sure of how she's still alive at this point.  After wistfully watching some Cavaliers practice their techniques from a distance while taking mental notes, she started to build a technique of her own, eventually leading to her exceptional handling of a lance...for a farm hand.  Once the civil war between her homeland and Exirth began, she saw this as an opportunity to make herself into the town's greatest hero... but unfortunately, she wasn't allowed to join her homeland's army on account of being from a rather pacifistic background, with the higher ups assuming she'd be no fit to them.  She decided to take matters to her own hands, preparing supplies and selling off her farmland before setting off on her own, once and for all, with rusted lance in hand.  While she doesn't know where she'll be heading, she at least knows she's prepared for what's to come.

Personality:  She has a nice and trusting demeanor to her, always wearing rose-tinted glasses and assuming the best in everyone.  As a result, she's a little too trusting of anyone she meets, easily leading to anyone easily able to manipulate her should they want to.  While coming from a quiet background, she's also quite energetic, willing to overcome what life throws at her.  Perhaps as a result of such a quiet background, she's also very cocky and tends to underestimate her enemies as a result of no prior experience in her small village, aside from the occasional bully here and there.  She's usually talkative and curious about everything, always wanting to learn more about who she befriends, perhaps going in a little too far and asking about more than is comfortable.  Opinions vary on whether that's a good thing or not.  While she's ditzy in nature, she can act serious when the situation demands it, being rather level-headed and fearless, though as said before, this can lead her into bad situations as she doesn't quite know her own strength.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Efe Clemenza on Fri Jun 05, 2015 6:17 am

Name: Sasha "The Vindicator" Clair

Age: 22

Continent: Besordine

Appearance/Clothing: Roughly six feet in height with crimson red hair resting shoulder length, Sasha is one who lets her appearance speak first. While some may call her excess of (fake) gold jewelry 'gaudy', she would prefer 'majestic'. She personally chose to shorten the sleeves on her light blue cleric robes and stitch in a star pattern on the back after she left the priesthood.

Class: Cleric (Promotes to War Cleric)

Background: Of her three siblings, Sasha was the only one to inherit her parent's religious zealotry to such ludicrous levels. Her whole family prayed, attended church, and became priests and clerics, but Sasha took it a step further at every chance. She didn't simply believe, but lived through her faith. The signs of fanaticism were starting to set, but somewhere along the lines, things seemed to change. As expected, she claimed to be hearing voices in her head, but would always attribute the source to 'The Higher Ones', instead of any god. Soon, her behavior began to change, as she threw away her meager life in the clergy for one of extravagance and glamour - as far as her purse could allow, anyway. Her parents, not exactly supportive but tolerant, allowed her to continue on her strange path, up to the day where she claimed that 'The Higher Ones' had given her one of several tasks that she must perform. To that end, she abandoned friend and family alike to begin a journey, a journey that would unveil the secrets that tie light and dark, good and evil. Through this, she would absolve the world of wrongdoings and bring about a wave of justice to flood the land with a peace that would last millennium... or so she said, anyway. Many simply elected to view her ramblings as those of a madwoman, but none could persuade her that she was misguided. Staff in hand, she set out on her grand pursuit, directed solely by a force imaginary to all but herself.

Personality: Not 'stubborn' but 'focused', not 'thick-headed' but 'resolute', Sasha has great difficulty seeing things in any way but her own. When her mind is set, there is nary a force in the world that can change it. She has her own sense of justice that, despite her steadfast resistance to change her other traits, seems to vary as the days pass. She's quicker to try diplomacy over war, but will not shy from a battle should the situation call for it, despite lacking any formal combat training.

Name: Jorgen
Age: 24
Continent (Exirth, Besordine, Mammaria, Avianna, Schwargon): Formely from Mammaria, resides in Besordine.
Appearance/Clothing: Jorgen wears a coat that only covers his shoulders and the sides of his body, letting his large belly out for all the world to see. He also wears very tight fur shorts.
Class: Dancer
Background: Jorgen was found in the fields of the Mammaria Confederacy, being raised by a woman he knew as Madison. She taught him all she knew about belly dancing, and how to encourage people to do their absolutely best. She also gave him self defense lessons.
Personality: Jorgen is a very jolly young man, and absolutely nothing can get him down. This is a fault, as he comes across as very dense and unable to be taken seriously. His dances disturb people, yet also oddly inspire them.

Hey; Gokua invited me to make a character for this. Hope you guys don't mind.

Name: Volak

Age: 46

Continent: Exirth

Appearance: Volak is tall and muscular, although most of his muscle is obscured by the thick layer of fat that covers it up. He has a severe face, with a large nose and a sloping forehead that seems to intimidate people.

He dresses simply, in worn-down plate mail that is starting to rust, and padded leather underneath it that stinks of urine no matter how many times he washes it, which isn't that often to be perfectly honest.

His hair is greasy and unkempt, although not as greasy as his skin, which is covered in scars from all of his engagements over the years.

Class: Paladin

Background: Volak was born in slavery, to parents who died soon after. For most of his life he had no idea what freedom was, let alone that he could ever hope to want it for himself.

But one day, when he was being herded along to his next task with his fellow slaves, the caravan was attacked by bandits. The bandits slaughtered most of the slavers and slaves, but Volak was able to escape. It might seem strange that somebody with no concept of freedom would be so desperate to protect something he valued as little as his life, but Volak ran and hid in the nearby forests,

Over time, he began to relish his newfound freedom. He began to formulate a sort of philosophy, although he could neither read or write, centred around the concept of freedom and protecting it. Eventually, on his travels, he found his way to Exirth, where he happily became a citizen.

Personality: Volak is a pleasant man who believes in living a good, moral life based around allowing everybody the freedom to choose their own path. Since refusing to murder or steal based on human laws would be restricting one's freedom, Volak opposes all laws and traditional morality, and he works to undermine society and establish a new world free of order and rules.

But, other than that, he's a really friendly guy and he'd love to hang out with you and be friends. You know, a pretty cool dude.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Mesh on Sat Jun 06, 2015 4:33 am

Name: Gorzod "Da 'Eadhunta" Millwall

Age: 23

Continent: Roams all across Zedwar, id hiz turf

Appearance/Clothing: Da 'Eadhunta is a Caucasian male with warm skin, a blonde and purple stripped Mohawk, blue eyes, and has a physical build of Akuma from Street Fighter. Overall he resembles a monster in his build and face, often getting mistaken for one thanks to not only his looks, but his personality as well, despite being full Beorc. He stands at a height of six foot even, an ideal height for a muscular goon like him. Da 'Eadhunta also rides a pinto horse (look at the Wikipedia page for tricoloured horse to see what she would look like) named "Horsee" that he's had for a few years now.

Da 'Eadhunta tends to wear looted clothing, finding whatever looks the best. Currently he wears some once fancy-looking green and purple robes he looted from a Druid. Underneath this Da 'Eadhunta tends to wear black leather boots, dark comfy baggy pants, a hide-tanned leather belt, dark brown leather gloves and shoulder pads, a dark slate gray tunic and a green and purple headband. Also sports plenty of sick green tribal tattoos that come in many various designs, mostly of monsters though. His horse Horsee also wears a nice looking saddle he recently looted off some rich noble since it looked pretty. When riding Horsee, Da 'Eadhunta attaches a quiver to the right side of her to fire arrows at his foes faster. As Da 'Eadhunta promotes in class, he will look more pimped out, along with Horsee.

Class: Nomad -> Nomad Trooper > Nomad Warboss :^)

Background: Da 'Eadhunta was born into one of some nomadic tribes that just wander the continent of Zedwar. His tribe viewed monsters with reverence and as a result tended to mimic them. This meant that from a young age, Da 'Eadhunta would join in raiding, looting and pillaging from the countryside to small towns with his tribe, even decapitating his first man at the age of seven, earning him his nickname. Of course being in a tribe that loved pissing people off meant that parties would form to strike back against his brutish tribe. He lost many tribesmen, including his parents and at the time of Gravedigger, Da 'Eadhunta's tribe only numbers to about ten people counting him. Still, they roam and rape Zedwar since in their eyes it belongs to them.

Personality: Da 'Eadhunta is a simple minded man with a barbarous way of life. He speaks in a crude, gruff, Cockney accent and is essentially the Warrior to Sol's Soldier in personality and how they view warfare. Da 'Eadhunta absolutely loves fighting, and commonly picks fights with others because he can. He also has a habit of looting nearly anything for no real reason, even if he can't feasibly keep/horde it. Skulls are Da 'Eadhunta's most favorite thing to loot, although he holds no materialistic value to them, often throwing and breaking them at people. His love of alcohol is also strong, and Da 'Eadhunta drinks quite a bit throughout the day, enough that would normally kill a regular person. As a result of being an incredibly belligerent individual, Da 'Eadhunta manages to piss off pretty much everyone, with few exceptions.

Would want him introduced early-mid in the story, like if this story was divided into five parts, he would be introduced around the second part.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Gokua on Mon Jun 08, 2015 8:57 am

Name: Ruth

Age: 28

Continent: Besordine

Class: Bard

Appearance/Clothing: She wears light leather armor at all times, on every single piece of her body, even her hands which are covered by leather gloves. She has short brown hair, as well as bright green eyes. She is very, very slim. She stands at a size of 5'3. She has a lute strapped to her back at all times.

Background: After her parents couldn't afford to own their home any more, they began to live at several of their friend's homes, until they came across a man and a woman who would soon have a child named Titus.  Their lives were peaceful from then on.

Personality: Despite being a normal girl, she has a horrible obsession with music and constantly playing her lute whenever possible. She also has a slight addiction to gambling, which often is very bad for her, but she sees it as an easier way to try and buy more musical instruments. She treats Titus like a little brother and lives with him. If she loses money SHE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL SHE GETS IT BACK AND MORE.

This is the last character I'm making.

Re: Fire Emblem: Gravedigger (Interactive Fire Emblem story)

Post by Saffaur on Mon Jun 08, 2015 7:07 pm

Name: Iris Flores
Age: 22
Continent: Besordine
Appearance: The first thing you'll likely notice about her is her cardinal red colored hair, followed by the fact her hair is deliberately styled in a way that it blocks out her right eye. This is due to having it been mauled by a rogue wyvern when she was training with some cadets. The eye you can see is a dark teal color. She has a well muscled figure (abs!) that tends to be hidden by her armor, which is the same color as her eyes, if a few shades lighter. However, she isn't that tall, reaching about 5'2".
Class: Wyvern Rider
Background: Iris had a rather normal childhood, playing with the kids, playing with wyverns. When she could, she enlisted in the military and quickly became extremely skilled when it came to wyverns. Until one recruit fucked up hard. He angered his wyvern it fell into a near unstoppable rage. She managed to quell it by beating it out of the beast, earning her the scar. She took the wyvern in as her own mount... in the process, scaring shitless new recruits as they whisper tales about how she likely uses a dragon skull as a gravy boat and murders recruits if they look at her wrong. She doesn't give any answers to when she's questioned about it, instead smiling in reaction and saying, "maybe."
Personality: A rather motherly sort, she takes care of wyverns and humans with the same amount of attention and love. That being said, she is easily disgusted by people who can't control their mouths. When insulted she simply responds with a smile and an "is that so?" with a smolder of hellfire in her eyes. When people insult her height however, they tend to get out with a stern warning. The second time, broken bones. Her scar is something she's self conscious about, not because of how she got it, but because of how she thinks she looks with it. Which is why she covers it up, paranoid people will find her scary, ugly, or just in general unpleasant. She treats her wyvern as her own child and takes any insult to him personally. Can be seen sometimes baby talking to him.
Extra: Her wyvern is a crimson color and battle scarred, his teeth just a bit sharper then a normal wyvern, and his eyes onyx. The wyvern is named Jeigan.
